Going Full Retard Never Felt So Right: DUMB AND DUMBER TO Is Here to Save Us All

Yes, this movie could end up being horrible, but something tells me we're all going to fork over good money to find out for ourselves.

Sequels are rarely any good. So when it was announced that Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels would be reprising their roles as Lloyd and Harry, the two most functionally retarded human beings ever committed to film who didn’t go on and on about George or Rabbits, naturally, I was a little skeptical.

Silly me. Go on…take my money.

Dumb and Dumber To is set 20 years after the 1994 original, and after seeing the trailer, I must admit, I laughed. There’ll be a number of people who claim that this shit isn’t funny, and I’m going to go ahead and call those people assholes.

Once you accept that this is probably going to be a retread, updating jokes that are 20 years old in order to keep Jim Carrey relevant, then everything else should go down pretty easy. Speaking for myself, I’ve been waiting for Carrey to start talking out of his asshole for a living again, because sometimes, acting like a moron on screen is as comforting as a familiar warm blanket we all know and love.

Dumb and Dumber To hits theaters on November 14th.
