The final trailer for the upcoming Captain America: Civil War is now live, and dear god, Spider-Man looks damn good
“I can do this all day.” So can we, Cap…so can we.
We’re only a month and a half from the release of Captain America: Civil War, and while we’ve seen more than enough to make this a must-see film, up until now, we had no idea what the return of the crown jewel of the Marvel Universe, Spider-Man would look like.
Well now, we don’t need to wait any longer.
There is nothing about this latest look that could keep me out of the theater. While there are some changes, this updated look at Tom Holland as everyone’s favorite friendly neighborhood Spider-Man evokes a big relief and only heightens the excitement for Civil War.
This is great news that goes along with what we now know will be the longest Marvel Studios film to date, clocking in at two-and-a-half hours, meaning there will be more than enough screen time to go around for this wall crawler as he get’s ready for his second reboot in 2017’s Spider-Man.
Webhead aside, everything else in Civil War looks great, including the tension between Captain America (Chris Evans) and Tony Stark (Robert Downey, Jr.), which is the fulcrum for a film which rumor has it will have an ending unlike any before it.
Battle lines are clearly drawn here, and if the last effort from the Russo Bros. (Captain America: The Winter Soldier) is any indication, this could be the best offering from Marvel Studios to date, making the audience the ultimate winner of this Civil War.
